After reaching out to several other large roofing/attic companies to bring our attic insulation and venting up to code we were left disappointed for a myriad of reasons (poor communication, lack of transparency in pricing, and unnecessary recommendations, etc). I happened to stumble upon Sorell and could not be happier with Eric’s approach, extensive knowledge, and quality of workmanship. He was quick to respond and arrange an in-home assessment where he provided a wealth of info and answered our many questions. I called Eric to have a look at our attic as we had a ceiling water stain on the lower level. Eric took the time to show me where the issues were coming from in the attic and what what causing it. Eric topped up our attic insulation, repaired 2 fan hoses and installed a new bathroom fan this past January. We had numerous other companies come out to review and give us a quote and Eric was the only one who noted the issue with the poor placement of our current bathroom fan and the moisture problems it could cause. His quote was fair, him and his team were on time and left the space extremely clean. Great experience from start to finish. The owner took the time to explain the challenges of my low slope roof and how he intended to deal with it. The quote was mid-range among those I received, but half of the most expensive. The crew arrived promptly, explained what they going to, and were extremely concerned with protecting my flooring and other fixture. As part of the great clean-up they even shovelled my walk!
